A wonderful, classic-designed, sturdy daysailer and weekend cruiser, dark green hull, 3 tanbark (reddish-brown) sails (main, staysail, and jib), jib furler, boomkin, wishbone boom for staysail, bowsprit, small woodstove, two tillers. Fiberglass hull. Full length keel. Wooden mast. Rebuilt 5hp Westerbeke diesel engine. Sleeps two. Sink and faucet. Portable head. Cockpit cushions. Sail covers for mainsail and staysail. Mainsail cover could use some minor repair. Depth finder. Small compass. The boat is in very good condition and is ready to sail. Some lines should be replaced in the next few years. Asking $10,500. Delivery in New England can be arranged. Boat located in Trenton, Maine (Bar Harbor area).

This is a comfortable and fun boat to sail and is designed to sail with little effort at the tiller. And, other sailors appreciate the classic look. The wood stove works well and can take the chill off for breakfast on the water. So, why am I selling it? At 6’ 4”, my back can get sore after an extended cruise. The cabin is comfortable for sitting, but can feel tight on an extended cruise. That is why it is recognized as a daysailer and weekender.

A great group of Stone Horse owners provide advice through a Facebook group and an annual Stone Horse regatta. Rigging the boat is complex the first time, but fun. All manuals and instructions come with the boat, and I am happy to help if needed.
